STRIDES is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities in their pursuit of postsecondary education. Through scholarships and awareness, we hope to open doors to educational opportunities that have been previously unattainable. STRIDES will work tirelessly to improve access to educational programs for individuals with disabilities and encourage a more welcoming environment for students with IDD across all college campuses.
We currently support students attending two educational programs at Texas A&M University: the PATHS Certificate program and the Aggie ACHIEVE program. While these programs are fantastic for students, the financial burden of a postsecondary education is sometimes too much for families to bear. Our goal is to alleviate this problem by providing students with disabilities the resources that they need to attain their dreams.
Our Recipients
Since our founding in 2019, STRIDES has awarded 30 scholarships (a total of $120,000) to PATHS and Aggie ACHIEVE students at Texas A&M.

Upcoming Events…
Our next major event is the 2026 Annual Golf Tournament!
STRIDES will host our 6th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Grapevine Golf Course in Grapevine, TX. The tournament will be held in March of 2026, exact dat to-be-determined.
This tournament is one of our top fundraisers of the year, having raised over $45,000 for our student scholarships and grants!
