The STRIDES organization was founded by a group of students of different ages, backgrounds, and experiences who came together towards one goal- to open the doors to higher education for students with intellectual or developmental disabilities. With each executive utilizing their own unique knowledge and skills, we were able to create a united front in which each person plays an important part. Each and every board member and officer holds our mission close to heart, as well as a passion to highlight the amazing work done by these post-secondary programs and their students and staff. We are so excited to take these first steps towards more inclusive and affordable post-secondary education for students with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
